Our Craft

Our Craft

Our clay figurines are inspired by traditional Beijing folk art and handmade using a slow, careful process.

Clay Shaping

Each figure starts with clay. The basic form is shaped and refined to create the posture, face, clothing details, and symbolic elements of the character.

Drying and Finishing

After shaping, the clay form must dry before it can be painted. This step helps the piece keep its structure and prepare for detailed color work.

Hand Painting

The final appearance is created by hand. Colors, facial expressions, decorative lines, and auspicious patterns are painted one by one, giving every figurine its own personality.

Handmade Variations

No two handmade pieces are exactly the same. Slight differences in color, brushwork, and details are normal and make each piece unique.

Care

Please keep the figurine indoors, away from water, high humidity, and strong impact. Clean gently with a soft dry cloth.
